EVENT SERIES Agape Kohvik
Trip to Lapland and Northern Norway
From January 27 to February 7, 2024
Students tour beyond the Arctic Circle to see the Northern Lights, snowboard, ski, hike and enjoy plenty of wonderful nature!
The trip is primarily intended for students, but everyone else who likes to adventure, meet new people, hike, snowboard and discover new places is also welcome.
Over the years, the group size has been 13-19 people. Some students have been on several trips, but usually at least half of the participants are completely new and have not been on a trip with us before. We will definitely make acquaintance rounds! Car journeys are long, so there is time to get acquainted.
The trip is usually accompanied by a very diverse group of people who like to adventure, hike, ski, snowboard or chase the best pictures and videos of the northern lights.
Group size
On this occasion, the maximum group size is 22 people. There are still places, but it's worth hurrying and booking a place in time!
Pre-trip event
Before the trip, we organize a meeting where we can get to know each other and share our impressions and excitement about the upcoming trip.

The Lofoten Islands are an archipelago in northern Norway with plenty of dramatic mountains, pretty fjords, bridges connecting the islands and lots of little red fishermen's houses.
Sights along the way
The nearest ski center is in Narvik, with 15 slopes and 6 lifts. The longest descent is 5km.
Lofoten is also a good place to take pictures of the northern lights :)
Levi, Lapland
Levi is located in Northern Finland, beyond the Arctic Circle. Rovaniemi is 170 km to the south. Levi is Finland's largest ski center with over 40 mountain ski slopes and 26 lifts.
Ylläs
Ylläs is quieter than Levi, but it has the longest and steepest ski slopes, including Finland's longest, three-kilometer Jättipitkä slope. Located about 1 hour's drive from Levi. There are 62 tracks and 30 lifts.

Narvik
In Lofoten, we are located 1 hour by car from the Narvik ski hill.
There is hope to see the northern lights in the evenings and at night when the weather is clear!
During the northern lights, the temperature also drops a little. For example, on one trip to Lofoten, it was -2c during the day, but during the northern lights it suddenly dropped to -9c. The trip is accompanied by a number of specialists and enthusiasts who know how to watch, as it is the right time to go outside to enjoy the northern lights.
