EVENT SERIES Agape Kohvik
The trip is primarily intended for students, but everyone else who likes to adventure, meet new people, hike, snowboard and discover new places is also welcome.
Over the years, the group size has been 13-20 people. Some students have been on several trips, but usually at least half of the participants are completely new and have not been on a trip with us before. We will definitely make acquaintance rounds! Car journeys are long, so there is time to get acquainted.
The trip is usually accompanied by a very diverse group of people who like to adventure, hike, ski, snowboard or chase the best pictures and videos of the northern lights.

On this occasion, the maximum group size is 18 people. There are still places, but it's worth hurrying and booking a place in time!

Before the trip, we organize a meeting where we can get to know each other and share our impressions and excitement about the upcoming trip.
NB! We need the date and year of birth to buy ship tickets. The number of places is limited!

Lofoten is a rugged Arctic archipelago in Northern Norway, famous for jagged peaks, turquoise bays, and red fishing villages like Reine. In summer you get the midnight sun and epic ridge hikes; in winter, clear skies bring the aurora and cozy rorbuer cabin stays. Think world-class photography, and hikes to Kvalvika—compact, dramatic, unforgettable.

We are planning to to some hikes to the mountains and have experience off-piste skiing (backcountry)
Well for a start we call it different things – in Europe we typically refer to it as Freeriding, or Off Piste skiing while in the US and Canada it’s known as Backcountry skiing. One key difference is in Europe, Off Piste areas are not patrolled, nor are avalanches controlled through blasting – except where an area is close to the lifts or may impact a pisted slope below.
In Europe you can ski almost anywhere at your own risk. This is great from the sense of freedom perspective, however you need to know where you are going.
In Norway, it is possible to go to the Narvik Ski Center.
During the northern lights, the temperature also drops a little. For example, on one trip to Lofoten, it was -2c during the day, but during the northern lights it suddenly dropped to -9c. The trip is accompanied by a number of specialists and enthusiasts who know how to watch, as it is the right time to go outside to enjoy the northern lights.
